Admission Requirements and Procedures

Application Procedures

1. Application Form and Timing

A person who wants to enroll for the autumn semester, please apply to the International Students’ Management Office of XJAU before May 1st of the same year. For the spring semester, apply before November 1st.

2. Documents for application

Applicants can ask for the Information for International Students and the Enrollment Application Form for International Students in XJAU by contacting the International Students’ Management Office of XJAU or visiting the XJAU website.

Applicants need to supply:

(1) The Enrollment Application Form

(2) Two photocopies of passport

(3) Eight personnel standard (passport size) photos

(4) A copy of the graduation certificate from the last formal schooling

(5) Those applicants older than 24 years old need to submit a resume in Chinese or English. Those younger than 17 years old need to submit a resume for each of his/her parents in Chinese or English.

(6) Payment of 600 RMB for the application and registration fee.

3. Once application documents, application and registration fee are received, the International Students’ Management Office will process them and upon approval, issue you a XJAU Admission Notice and an Application Form for the visa necessary for international students in China (JW202 Form).

4. After being accepted, please apply for an X visa at your local Chinese Embassy. Be sure to bring the XJAU Admission Notice and JW202 forms. Register at XJAU on time in accordance with the XJAU Admission Notice.
